AMOS KESTER EBIOWEI was born into the family of Chief YEREYERE AMOS at Buluo-orua town in Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa State. He is the last of seven children from his mother.

 

He attended Community Primary School Adagbabiri, in Adagbabiri town in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State. He went on to further his secondary education at the Community Secondary School Sagbama, in Sagbama LGA. He was elected the senior prefect boy during the 2005/2006 academic session. He obtained his WAEC and NECO certificates in 2006. Kester Amos as he is popularly known on social media, got admission to study Animal Science at the Niger Delta University Amassoma, Bayelsa State 2007, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture in 2012. He graduated with second class upper. He further went on to write the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) professional examination and obtained his Graduate Animal Scientist (GAS) certificate and was inducted at the University of Ibadan in 2014. Still in pursuit of his practicing license, he went on to take the Registered Animal Scientist examination in 2021, where he came out with flying colours and was inducted as a Registered Animal Scientist (RAS) at the ASAN/NIAS CONFERENCE held at Uyo Akwa Ibom State, 2021. He is currently a master’s degree student in the department of Animal Science Niger Delta University studying Animal Production and Management as a second degree.

KESTER AMOS is an ANIMAL SCIENTIST with over 10 years of field experience in establishing and managing large scale livestock farms for various individuals, institutions, companies and organizations with over 300 farms established across 28 States in Nigeria. He has also established some farms in neighbouring countries Ghana and Cameroon which were both completed in June, 2022.

AWARDS

Kester Amos is a multiple award winner. He is the youngest winner of the Pan-African Distinguished Leadership award, as an ICON OF NATION BUILDING IN NIGERIA. This award was presented to him by the African Student Union Parliament at the faculty of agriculture Niger Delta University in May 2021. The same month he was given an award in recognition as an African Food Survival Ambassador at the University of Ibadan for his selfless services to humanity through his consultancy services. This award was presented to him by Golden Grown Agricultural Foundation. In November that same year, he was awarded the FACE OF SNAIL FARMING IN AFRICA by the Ghanian Snail Farmers Association in Accra Ghana. He also received the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD OF THE YEAR 2022, presented by BUILDERS YOUTH AFFAIRS.
